Janet's soul letter was inspiring and comforting to me.

She shared about an incident that no one else would have known about that happened a few days ago.  I remember thinking and feeling - that's a message - and this reiterated that. She also helped answer a question I have been debating on.

It's comforting to know that she is a light for us all.

I met Janet at a Waves of Grief event a few weeks ago on the beach in Half Moon Bay. I felt like we connected and shared our common grief of losing a child. I lost my precious daughter Sydney in June of 2019. She was not only my daughter, but my best friend as we shared so much passion and lust for life together on this most amazing, beautiful planet Earth. Anytime we were together, ever since she was a little girl it was a full day of surfing, hiking, skateboarding, working out and beyond. The most precious times were sitting, just being and looking at the ocean, sky, trees and mountains.

Janet and I spoke briefly before the planned activities took place and I had to leave early due to prior commitments. A few days later, I received a message from Janet asking permission if she could connect with Sydney and that she may have a message from her. I later received a heartfelt mind-blowing letter from Sydney that began with, "Hi Dad". So much of the letter resonated deeply with me and contained information that only Sydney and I shared together. Precious memories and details that came flooding back. Sydney also explained how she passed away, which was somewhat of a mystery. I will cherish this letter forever and someday I will once again hold her, hug her and just be with her in the heavenly skies, mountains and oceans!

Thank you Janet for your insights and wisdom.
